Descrizione
The invention consists in a
method for applying techniques of crowdsourcing and social networking to the problem of finding information online, in particular to
answer questions for which the traditional search engines are not able to provide satisfactory answers.
The system allows you to start with
partial responses provided by conventional engines and to
establish a set of possible users that could potentially answer directly the question.
The system
uses social connections established on a commercial social networks, communities of practice and channels of crowdsourcing to forward the application to the users, who can respond through the same connection channels.
The system allows to
configure the behavior of the application according to
a series of parameters (i.e. the expected level of quality, maximum waiting time, number of responses), which contribute to improve the selection of channel and responder users.
Campo di applicazione
Web applications that allow to combine traditional search technology with requests sent to Web users who are asked to answer (e.g. requests on specific geographic locations, requests on advanced medical information, requests on members’ community opinion, etc).
